Bias Effects on g- and s-Factors in Westcott Convention

For accuracy improvement of neutron activation analysis and capture cross sections, bias effects are investigated on g- s-factors in the Westcott convention. As origins biases, a joining function shape, temperature, sample temperature have been investigated. Biases quantitatively deduced for two 1/v isotopes (197Au, 59Co) six non-1/v (241Am, 151Eu, 103Rh, 115In, 177Hf, 226Ra). The s-factor calculated with recently by detailed Monte Carlo simulation is compared to traditional functions Westcott. results show induced small, order 0.1% g-factor 1% s-factor.
